Switzerland.

Switzerland is the land of beauty, - Huge, towering mountainswith snow-capped crags, gigantic glaciers, magnificent lakes, and wild, romantic valleys. It is a federated republic. The great mountains make it a natural fortress. During the great war it remained neutral with four great nations at war on all four sides of it. The people are generally well educated and proficient in languages.

The hotels are models of cleanliness and comfort.

Switzerland also offers a refuge for political and social rebels of all nations. It is natural that the league of Nations should choose Geneva as its headquarters, for Switzerland is a kind of international clearnign house for the thought and theory of Young Turk, Bolsheviki, diplomats, and high-born refugees.

Switzerland has united itself to this camp with two rocks from the Rotary Clubs of Bern and Geneva.
