One ounce of Adam's Calcined Magnesia Alba
One once of Water'd Sulphur
Made into an Electuary with Syrup of Ginger
a tea spoonfull of the electurary to be taken
every morning.

To Water the Sulphur you just pour
boiling water upon it & stir it about. when
settled, pour it off and pour boiling water
over it again, and pour the water off, when
settled, so do it a third time, then dry it and
keep it in a Bottle - I water half a pound of
Sulphur at a time, and pour one quart of
Boiling water over it each time.

To a child of four or five years old give a
pap spoonful of Linsed Oil cold drawn.
one hour before Breakfast with a little mint
watr to prevent sickness. the Tea cup being
set on a Bason of warm water will liquidate
the oil; and make it mix better with the mint
water, it may be give two, three, or four
mornings following or you see proper. then rest
two mornings and give it again. Something should be
given to take the taste out of the mouth but not any
thing that is opening. the Oil has sufficient of
that quality - when you have given the Oil, eight or
nine times it may not be amiss once or twice to
