To make Lavender, or Hungary Water
[Miss Burnet]
To a Quart of Spirits of Wine add One ounce
of oil of Rosemary for Hungary, & if for Lavendar
Water one Ounce of Oil of Lavendar, & in a day
or two after add two [Scruples]of Essence of
Ambergrase.
Soap for the Hands, Miss Bennet
One pound of soft soap, two ounces of [Sherma Cita]
& One Ounce of [Camphor], rubed very fine, then
boiled all together untill it is quite smooth
