For certificate 43569, it looks like the forename Michael has been crossed out and replaced by Richard. I've entered it as "Michael [Richard]" using the corrected entries convention but should it actually just be "Richard" in the forename field and the corrected entries convention used for noting the correct/modern spellings of words misspelled and uncorrected in the original? I've marked the page for review for this.

Scrumpy Geoff

I've checked the original certificate and his forename is Richard. I usually go along with the author's own corrections. Thanks so much for joining in and taking the trouble to read the guidelines and follow them. I wouldn't worry too much over the corrections convention for minor spelling errors or for accepted misspellings of the time (eg Anglesea or Aberystwith). It's completely at your discretion. Also you'll find on several forms the surname is placed above the forename.
Thanks again. Keep going!

Thanks @Scrumpy Geoff. Also thanks for fixing the Evan Humphreys name on the previous page - after your comment about the swapping of first/last names I realised I had got that wrong and was going to go back & fix it. I'll keep that tip in mind for future. I'm not sure how many pages I'll be able to get done or how long I'll be able to participate, but I'll try to do at least a couple more pages.

Scrumpy Geoff

No worries. A page whenever you can will help.
