The Board of Trustees of the Consolidated University of North Carolina
met in Gerrard Hall on the campus of the University in Chapel Hill, at 11:00
A. M., on Monday, May 28, 1956, Governor Luther H. Hodges presiding, Arch T.
Allen, Secretary.

The meeting was opened with prayer by Mr. Fred I. Sutton.
