Chance in Name of School of Agriculture

With the approval of President Friday the designation of "The School of Agriculture" has been modified, effective February 1, 1964, to "The School of Agriculture and Life Sciences". These departments are now among the most competent in the region and some of them enjoy national and international stature. Changing the name of the School recognizes this important fact. It invites students into its programs who under the label "Agriculture" alone would be unaware of or reluctant to undertake the study of biology here.
