Mr. Rowe moved that the recommendation be adopted. The motion was seconded by Mr. Irwin Belk, and it was unanimously adopted.

Nominating Committee

Mr. Harris presented the report of the Nominating Committee for Mr. Frank Taylor, its Chairman. Mr. Harris called attention to the new Code which provides that all committees, except the Executive Committee and the Visiting Committee, have four-year terms. The Visiting Committee terms are staggered, and the Executive Committee members are elected at the May meeting in the year in which their terms expire. Mr. Harris also called attention to new committees created by the Code, and to the fact that the Visiting Committee was increased from 12 to 21 Members, and the Real Estate Committee increased from 5 to 7 members; three of whom are also members of the Executive Committee.

The Nominating Committee will meet again prior to the Commencement meeting of the Board, and Mr. Harris urged all members who have not already done so to send in their questionnaires. In order to take advantage of people's talents, abilities and experience, the Nominating Committee needs to know all it can about the members of the Board. He further stated that it would be helpful if members would write to the Nominating Committee before the Commencement meeting stating where they have a special interest.

Mr. Harris then presented the following nominations:

Dr. Francis A. Buchanan
Dr. Jesse B. Caldwell
