Mr Bowmaker held even'g service
Miss Holland went out this evening.

25th
We miss Polly Leslie much in
the needlework neither of the other
needle women being competent to
put articles together or finish them
nicely. Miss Holland went out this
afternoon. Mssrs A B Armstrong and
J. Mills gave the Inmates a tea party
this evening to welcome the Rev'd J Smith
back to this country from England.

26th
Mrs Goodlet & Mrs Hill visited
Gentlemens Committee this afternoon.
Miss Holland went out and took
the opportunity of calling upon
Mr Caldwell for books.

27th
Miss Holland started this morning
for Liverpool to remain until Monday
with her friends.
The Messenger intimated his intention
of resigning his appointment here his
time being fully occupied as Sexton.
we have had it very wet to send away
our washing to day. The Laundress
went out this afternoon.

28th
Sabbath Mr Howitt morning service
Mr Fletcher afternoon do
I went to early morning service the
Laundress went out for the day.
