7th
I went out to Morning Service
Miss Holland went out afternoon
& morning. I read to the Inmates.

8th
The New Laundress Mrs Knight arrived
at seven of clock in the morning.
Mrs Magregor visited. Mrs Gregory
came this evening and read and
prayed with the Inmates.
Dr. Nathan called to see Fanny Chapman
I wrote a certificate for Martha Buckle
as being better suited for the Asylum
in Hyde Park than this Institution.

9th
Ladies Sub Committee. Ann Kirby
insisted upon going out. consequently
the Ladies could do nothing else
but expell her. Miss Holland has
been very poorly all day.

10th
I went out this morning from half
past ten to half past twelve o clock.
Mrs. Caldwell visited. Mr Gully
held an evening service Miss Holland
went out. Charlotte Stanley came to the
gate just at nine o clock bringing a
note from Mrs. Wise & Jones requesting
me to take her in until the next
Sub Committee day, After she went to
bed she was in such a state of terror
(from drinking I suppose) that I gave her
a few drops of laudanum to quiet her.
