Ladies Sub Committee.
Mary Ann Mitchell and Susan Graham
desire to leave the Refuge, the Ladies
have advised them to try it a little
longer, The man Neenan called
respecting Mary Ann, the Ladies spoke
to him and he promised to return
next Tuesday. The Ladies spoke to
Ellen Adams or (Printiford) respecting her
conduct during the last week she hasn't
done any work and has spoken very
rudely. I received a letter from Mr. Addington
this morning which I laid before the
Committee. I went out this evening after
seven o'clock returning at nine.
Mrs. Armstrong and Mills held a
Temperance Meeting this evening
Sixteen of the Inmates signed the
pledge.

20th
Mary Ann has expressed her sorrow
to me for her rudeness to the Ladies
of the Committee yesterday. Ellen Adams
apologized to me for the unkind
words she spoke to me during the
last week. Miss Holland and the
Laundress went out this evening
Mr Gully held an evening service
