Ladies Sub Committee
Ellen O Brian admitted.
Ellen Smith not admitted but
allowed to remain here until Dr. Nathan
shall have seen and examined her.
Jessie Evans refused to remain to
assist in any work that may be
given her.
Mrs. Lewin complained to the Ladies
of Charlotte Stanley using bad language
to her, Charlotte insisted upon going
out but was at last persuaded to remain
for a short time longer.

15th
Charlotte Stanley commenced again
this morning to abuse Mrs Lewin
using threatening and shocking language
after which she insisted upon going out.
I therefore gave her the clothes she wore
when she entered the Refuge, and she
left us. Annie Coffey was taken away
by the Person who engaged her as Servant
(Mr Robinson) to go to the Tweed River
The Laundress went out this evening.

16th
Margaret Allen came early this
morning begging to be taken in
as she was destitute and wanted to
redeem her character.
The Dean of Sydney held evening Service.

17th
I went out this morning from 9 to
11 o clock. Mrs Goodlet & Mrs Mills visited
Miss Sibley brought some needle work to be done.
