June 7th
Ladies Sub Committee.
The Laundress reported Maria Leach
for using bad Language. Maria was
reprimanded by the Ladies.

8th
Maria Leach was very determined this
morning to leave the Refuge at once
after some talking to and kind persuasion
she returned to her work, and is going
on in her usual earnest manner.
Miss Holland went out this evening
Mr Robens held an evening Service.

9th
Mr Robens called to get Anna Coffey
to sign the Temperance pledge, and
gave her some books.
The Dean of Sydney held evening Service

10th
Ellen O Brian came to the Gate
this morning asking admission she
has been here twice before, she was
looking so miserable, with scarcely a
rag upon her, and so stupid with drink
that I took her in to wait the decision
of the Ladies of the Sub Comittee.
This afternoon Mr. Robens brought in
a young girl (Ellen Smith) she has
been on the streets for months past
and appears thankful to get a shelter
and food to eat. Mrs. Hill visited.
Mrs Jones called respecting some washing
Mrs Walter Bradley of Aston Hall Randwick
called to make arrangements for her washing
