Consequence of the cold weather our
families washings have considerably
decreased in quantity.

Ladies Sub Committee. Kate Williams
was admitted, Louise Kerrigan and
Betsy Macdougal left, the former could
not be persuaded to remain.
Mr. Mills held an evening service.

Aug 1st
Miss Manning brought a young
person this afternoon. Mary Ann Mitchell.
She is desirous of admission and
promises to remain her appointed
time, she is the young person Mrs Wise
has been much interested about in
the Infirmary. Miss Holland went out.
R. [Rev] Mr Druce held an evening Service
in place of Mr Gully who was otherwise
engaged.

The Laundress wishes to take
Maria Leach before the Ladies of the
General Committee to-morrow, Some
disagreement respecting the washing
I have spoken to Maria upon the subject
she appears to think she has more than
her share of work allotted her.
Re. Mr & Mrs Robinson called to engage
a Servant to take with them to the
Tweed River.
The Dean of Sydney held an evening service
I went out afterwards returning at 10 p.m
