May 28th
A Dorcas Meeting was held here
this afternoon. Mary Sutton came this
evening with a note from Mr. Armstrong
asking me to do what I could for her
until the Ladies meet next Tuesday.
Revd W Bode held an evening Service.

27th
The washing having been finished
earlier than usual I enlisted several
of the Inmates to assist at the needle
work, mending and making clothes
for the Institution.

28th
Mrs Jones visited Miss Holland
and the Laundress went out this
afternoon.

29th
Sabbath
The Laundress came home this morn'g
and left again in time for morning
Service. I went to early Service 1/4 to eight
returning at half past eight. Miss Holland
went out to morning Service
Revd W. Mills held morning Service
I went out to evening Service.

30th
The Laundress came home this
morning at half past seven o'clock.
Mrs Allen visited according to direction
I have written to the Proprietors of the Royal
Pettys and Post Office Hotels enclosing a
list of our charges for washing as in
