April 26th
Ladies Sub Committee the Laundress
begged me not to take Maria Duke
before the Committee as she had been
behaving better and she thought she
was sorry for her conduct yesterday.
Kate Molloy is to move her bed from the
Sorting room as the Laundress cannot
be responsible for the clothes whilst it
is used as a bedroom. Charlotte Stanley
and Ann Curley spoke to the Ladies about
their clothes that is in pawn, and at
the wash I am to to tell Charlotte's washer woman
to bring her clothes here next Tuesday.
Bussells man has brought the stove for
the Ironing room but cannot set it
until Saturday afternoon.

27th
Kate Molloy and Martha Buckle moved
their beds frm the Sorting room this
morning. Sarah Jones Mother called to
see her she was told that the Ladies would
not allow her to be seen by any one
she having been brought here by the
Police. The Mother said she was leaving
Sydney that evening for Brisbane and
begged to be allowed two words with her
as she may never see her Daughter again.
I allowed her to speak to Sarah in my
presence for about three minutes after
which she went away.
Mr. Robins held an evening service.
