Sabbath April 24th
Mr. Moses held morning Service
no other Minister came all
the day. no doubt the rain has prevented
them.

25th
Mrs. Dawson called respecting the
Ship wash, it has been done to-day
we have had fires in each room to
dry as much hof it as possible, as there
has not been any opportunity for drying
in the garden. The Laundress complained
to me of Maria Duke using band language
in the Laundry and wishes to take
her before the Ladies of the Sub Committee
tomorrow.

26th
I took Caroline Macleroy to the
Infirmary this morning according to
instructions from Dr. Nathan, she was
admitted, she thanked me for taking
her and asked to be allowed to return
here when she was well again. It being
a busy day with me inconsequence of
the clothes not having being sent home
last week, I asked Miss Holland to take
Caroline to the Infirmary, she refused
to do so saying she did not care to walk
through town with her, and asked if I
would take her in a Cab. I told her that
I did not think myself justified in
doing so, if she objected to go, I must
go myself, but that I should be obliged
to name her refusal to the Ladies of the
Committee.
