April 12th. Sub Committee Sarah Jones
admitted. Louisa Kerrigan taken
out by Mrs Lindsay.

13th. Two fresh applicants for admission.
I went into town to pay the Treasurer
money received from the washing and
given him the quarterly bills for payment
Ordered an iron plate for the Ironing
room, the Laundress considers it the
best and cleanest fire for the purpose.
Left this Institution at 10 o'clock a.m.
Returned at 12 1/2 past. Harriet Penketh
was severely reprimanded by the Laundress
this evening for saying the Laundry was
not locked up.

14th. The Laundress has again been angry
with Harriet about her bedroom. I have
consequently placed another inmate to
attend to the Laundress, and hope to hear
no more complaints. The Ironers worked
through the evening to get the clothes forward
Mr Bode held an evening service.

15th. Good Friday. No Minister came
through the day. Fanny Chapman's
Father sent for her, as her Mother was dying.
Miss Holland took her home and at the
Mother's earnest request left her there.
Miss Holland and myself sat with
the Inmates and read to them.
Six dozen buns were sent to the Institution
by Mrs Joseph Thompson.
