April 9th. Mrs Raymond called about her washing
Mrs Maunder Jones visited, not withstanding
that Annie Mulholland one of our best
Ironers has left us all the clothes have
been sent home to day as usual. I have
moved Katie Adams from attendance
upon me into the Ironing room, as
she is a nice Ironer, and have arranged
for Louisa Pilkington to attend the
Committee room, and my Sitting room,
together with her duties of house maid
on the ground floor, she is very active
clean and obliging. Miss Holland and
the Laundress went out this afternoon.

Sabbath
10th. Mr Adam Howitt conducted the
morning Service.
- Mr Hall afternoon Service
- Mr Catley evening Do
Miss Holland and the Laundress
went out in the morning -
I went to evening Service.

11th. Mrs Cocks called and asked for a
few alterations to be made regarding
her washing, she expressed herself
well pleased with the general
appearance of the clothes. Mr Crane
called and requested me to look
about a Stove suitable for the Ironing
room. Mrs Garret called she keeps
steady and looks very respectable.
