April 3rd. No minister attended this evening
I went out to evening Service.
Laundress out all day.

4th.
Drury moved the Stove from the Ironing
room into the drying room. a fire was
lighted in it and proved to answer well.
Mrs Lindsay with Mr Hellier Solicitor called
to see Louisa Kerrigan on business. Mrs L.
left £1.0.0 Donation for a treat for the
Inmates. At 8 o'clock p.m. a servant
from the House of the Good Shepherd came
to ask if Annie Mulholland had bolted
from this, as she was in there asking
for admittance. I went to the Good Shepherd
and saw Annie who said she could not
content herself at the Refuge, that she had
told the Ladies if they did not let her go
out she should do worse.

5th. Ladies Sub Committee - a letter read
from Cecily Sandiland's late Mistress caused
her rejection as an Inmate of this
Institution. Ann Kirby was readmitted
upon a promise of good behaviour for
twelve months. Mrs Wise brought some
books for the Inmates. I have heard
that another escape is meditated and
have offered to write to the girl's Aunt for
her hoping to prevent it. Mr Crane called
Mr Mills held evening Service.

6th. Mrs Magregor and Mrs Mills visited
Mr Harrison called. Helen Jones spoke
