Cecily Sandiland is to remain until
Tuesday no answer having yet been
received from her late Mistress relative
to enquiries made as to the reason for
her leaving her situation. Martha Buckle
is to remain until she is stronger and
better able to work. Ann Kirby came
to the gate just as the Ladies were leaving
Mrs Cowper asked for her to be again
admitted she is to remain until Tuesday
next. Mr Reeve held an evening Service

2nd Mrs Raymond called respecting her
washing. Drury repaired the slates
on the roof near the chimney where the
rain poured in. I read to the Inmates
this evening and many appeared
greatly interested. Ann Kirby expressed
her sorrow for having gone out over
the Cottage and promises never to do
such a thing again. Dr Nathan called
to see Martha Buckler who is suffering
from a bad cough. Laundress left this
at 3p.m.

Sabbath
3rd. Mr Mills could not attend this morning
Mrs Mills came in his place and
read with the Inmates.
Miss Holland went out to morning Service
Mr Field held afternoon Service.
