The water let on about half past
nine this morning. Mrs. Allen and
Mrs Hill visited. Mr Crane called. The
Diet is not quite according to rule
the Potatoes not keeping well I have
considered it best to use them instead
of other vegetables.

15th
Ellen Jones & Ellen Printerford
re admitted. Mrs Gallett gone out
received instructions from the
Ladies Committee to write respecting
the scale of charge for washing, also
to Mr Crane about repairs.
The Reverend Mother Agnes of the Good
Shepherd sent to enquire about our drains
their Yard being flooded.

16th
Sent to Mr. Crane about the drains
Drury the builder came to see to them
Mr Robins held an evening Service

17th
Weather very wet. Ann Davis asked
for admission under a feigned name
when told who she was I sent her to
Mrs Caldwell for an order of admittance
she did not return.

18th
Raining still. Mr Drury came
to open the windows of the drying
room &c. The Laundress arrived
this evening.
