Mrs Allen visited. Mr. Gully gave an address
in the Evening

Special Meeting 12 Ladies present

Messrs Jay and Arundel addressed
the Inmates this Evening

22nd
Kate Aitkinson came early this morning
to ask for admission. I sent her to Mrs Caldwell
for a recommendation after which I put her
in the Cottage to prevent her mixing with
the Inmates. She was very trying all
day. and wanted to go out again
we had no Preacher this morning
Mr. Gibson addressed them this Afternoon &

Mrs. Threlkeld visited.

24th
Sub Comtee 5 Ladies present. Mr. Armstrong
held a Temperance Meeting in the Evening
The Ladies admitted Kate Atkinson but as
Soon as they were gone. She became very
troublesome again

26th
Had to remove Susan Atkins for swearing
and refusing to work. She is a brash, trying
woman.
