August 26th.
Wednesday. The S.S. 'Mataura's" Linen was taken
away today. and the S.S. 'Kaikowra" [Kaikoura]'s
brought in
Eliza Campbell wishes to go out.

Thursday 27th. The men have come to repair the
spouting.

Friday 28th.

Saturday 29th. Mr. H. Hossack did not come, he was
very poorly last Saty. when here. and we
fear he is worse.

Dr. Nathan gave an order for Julia Gibson to go
to the Infirmary. purchased vegetables at C Market
4/6 this morn.g ½ past 6 oclk.

Sabbath 30th. Mr. H. Moses preached 11 oclk.
Revd. W. J. K. Piddington 3 oclk and Mr. H. B. Lee in
the eveg. - Matron took J Brownlee and M. J Green to
church this morng.
