Sabbath.
Mr. Moses preached 11 oclk, and
Rev'd Creed 3 oclk.
No Minister in the eveg. The Matron and
inmates read 5th chapt Mathew [Matthew] (every other
verse). prayer and singing - and M.J. Armstrong
and Sarah. J. Green recited beautifull [beautiful] pieces
of poetry. a few were able to repeat the
Ministers' texts. Mr Creed's was "The
precious blood of Jesus".

Monday 3rd
All the Blankets and quilts are
washed and dried - we are getting
short of plain sewing for the evenings.
I dare not trust them with Customers work.
Charlotte French is very poorly with a cold.

Teusday 4th
Sub Com't met. 3 Ladies present
permission given to Ann Williams to
leave the Refuge tomorrow to get married
