June 9th Tuesday.
Ladies Sub Com't 5 present
sent a note to Gulf Creek in reply to a woman
asking if she could be admitted if she came to
Sydney.

Wednesday 10th
Charlotte French is laid up with face ache.
Mr Roberts called to see Maria Hodnett, she told him she
was "very comfortable." Mr Foster was not at home, but
her sister said they "like her ^[sup]Maria[sup] very much, that she is a good sensible woman."

Thursday 11th
Kate Aitkinson is very penitently says she
deserves all ^[sup]the[sup] sorrow and shame that is come
upon her, deep contrition is evident in her
countenance and daily conduct too.

Friday 12th
Susan Atkins said "I feel like one just come
to my sences [senses], and wonder whatever made me so
bad and wicked to my children and such a good husband."
I urged her to pray to God to forgive her and to be thankfull [thankful] that she was not cut off in her sins, but had time given for repentance before it was too late.

Saturday 13th
Mr. Parsons brought a note from
Mrs. Tho's Smith requesting admission
for his daughter a young girl only 15 1/2 years old. she was
found in a house of ill fame hid under a bed (by her
mother) and three police men, and taken home at 2 oclk
this morn'g.
I purchased vegetables for the week this morn'g at the
central market for 6/. The messengers carried them home
on his wheelbarrow.
