I purchased vegetables at the central
market for 5/10. it being a very stormy ^[sup]wet[sup] morn'g
both the messenger and I had a thorough drenching.

Sabbath 31st
Rev W. Mills preached 11 oclk, Rev C Creed
3 oclk and H B Lee in the evening. Three of the
girls are suffering from colds and cough.

June 1st
Monday
Sent a note asking Dr. Nathan to come
Monday and visit the invalids.
Mrs. Mills called to say Miss Aitken has promised
to come here on Wednesday 5 oclk to give a
"Reading."

Tuesday 2nd
Sub com't met. 3 ladies present.
T S. S "Ruahine washing came this morning.

Wednesday 3rd
Dr. Nathan examined Margaret Cameron and
says she must go to Parramatta Asylum.
Miss Aitken came and read a many of her beautiful pieces.
Rev J. Smith came, gave an address, but had to leave early
to hold service in his own church.
I told Miss Aitken I was sincerely obliged to her for her kindness, she
replied "Oh, not at all, I have only done my duty."
