April 20th
Monday.
J Drew went to her situation, 8 o clk
this morn'g, She promised to pray earnestly to
God to forgiven all that is past, and for strength to do her duty.
I received a letter from Rev'd R H Mayne
enquiring about Kate Barry "if she was alive or
dead? The girls parents having been informed of
her death were in a great state of excitement and
anxiety to know the truth", and requesting a
telegram. I sent on directly stating that Kate was
quiet well, not ailed anything

Teusday [tuesday] 21st
Sub com't met. 5 Ladies present.
Mary McAveny continues to use bad language
although when spoken to about it she promises
not to.

Wednesday 22nd
Miss G took Mary Noland to steamer
this morn'g 11 oclk & Eliz'th Graham to Labor office
I sent a note to Mr. Pritchard giving notice that
we want to discontinue taking his bread on the 30th inst.
Eliz'th Graham is engaged to Mr as general
servant 12/. pr week.
