Feby 16th
Sabbath. No Minister, morn'g or afternoon
but Mr. Roberts had a Bible Class at 3oclk
C. Tilley in the eve'g.

Monday 17th
Still the rain is pouring down
the washed linen, that has been lying wet since Friday I have ordered to be thrown on the green, as it smells.

Teusday [tuesday] 18th
This morn'g the sun shines and we hope to get the wet clothes dry at last. all hands are busy at work, and so pleased to
see the change.

Wednesday 19th
The "mixture" answers well for cleansing beds &c. Kate Tubman continues very thankfull [thankful]for being admitted and is beginning to recover, and is able to work now,
but her legs have still to be bandaged with
oil rags.

Thursday 20th
M. A. Ward called to see us. she brought
a bunch of roses by permission from her Mistress
for me. she asked me to give her respects to the
ladies and thank them [underlined]a many times[end underlined] for their
kindness in getting her such a good place."

Friday 21st
Fanny Leatherborough (a half witted girl
sent to us from Brisbane) is getting very
troublesome idle and disobedient.
