May 20th.
Monday.

Teusday 21st. The ladies in Com't very kindly consented
to the inmates having a holliday on the
"Queens birthday" and a plumb [plum] cake also.
Mr. Mills and Mr Armstrong held a Temperance
meeting this eve'g and promised to send
fireworks for their entertainments.

Wednesday 22nd. Ann Fletcher is so cross and ill tempered
with her fellow inmates. her words to them
are "like the peircings [piercings] of a sword". thereby giving
trouble to heal the wounds she makes.
