settle about the washing.
It is all to be sent in drays at the Companys

the town washing being finished they began
washing blankets directly after dinner.

Saturday 19th. sent an application for a
washing machine, and a new
Ironing stove to J. Caldwell Esq.
Rev'd C Ord has kindly lent us a washing
machine and a patent boiler, which
will be such a help

Sabbath 20th. Mr McCoy came in the morn'g
and Rev'd Lavers afternoon-
all the inmates in attendance and very
orderly and in much better health lately.

Monday 21st. We find Mr. Ords wringing
machine invaluable. the blankets dont
require half as much time to dry, which
is a consideration these short days.
Several of the girls hands are sore with constant
rub'g a good washing machine would have
saved them.
