Monday.

Teusday [tuesday] 15th. A young man called to see if we would
take in a girl 19 yrs old that had been
"on the town" 12 months, but was "very repentant"
said it was his intention to marry her if she stay'd
in the Refuge 6 months.

16th.
Wednesday

Thursday 17th. A letter received requisiting [requesting] a
tender for the Panama Mail Co.
washing. it was shown to three of our
com't ladies (Mrs. Graham, Mrs. Goodlet &
Mrs. J. Thompson) and they instructed the
Matron to offer to do all the ships washing
(500 Doz'n) at one shilling per Doz'n
