Emma Freeman continues idle and naughty
and is so difficult to get out of bed in the
mornings, and it is painfull [painful] to witness
her distaste for our religious services.
Monday 30th
We are very busy more
washing than usual in
Tuesday
May 1st
Amount received for inmates
work £21.
Wednesday 2nd
Mr. Joy called, with a quantity of
plants for our garden.
None of the inmates, could be induced to
use the wringing machine untill [until] today
they find the wringing [underlined] so many large [end underlined] pieces,
heavy work, and were coaxed to try
once more, now they are sorry they did
not use it before.
Susan Johnson started 7 0 clk to her situation
