Sabbath 25th
Matron took Jane Drew to Church
this morn'g - Mr. Roberts, held a little
service as there was no minister
Rev'd P Bickford was expected at 3 o clk, however
he did not come. we had a Bible class both
afternoon and even'g conducted by the Matron.

Monday 26th
Jane Drew went to Miss Scanton
Ashfield, 12 oclk this morn'g. Mrs. Dawkins
having arranged to meet her there.

Josephine Reeves told the Matron that her
Mother kept a "Ladies School" that Mrs Dean Thompson
knew her well, his name is Mr. Hawley
but her Mother was so angry at her bad conduct
that she does not speak to her.
ask'd her how she became to get married to Reeves
"O I married for spite" and I shall never like him
