Mrs Thrikeld offered to engage Emily Turner
as general servant for a friend of the country.
after consulting with Mrs Goodlet, it was
decided that her outfit be prepared and that
she go on Tuesday morn'g - wages £20 pr, an.
Matron went 1/2 past 6 oclk this morn'g to
Sir John Young's garden to get some plants for
our garden, returned at 8 oclk. The messenger is to
go this afternoon for them.

Received a note [sup]from[end sup] Dr. Fullerton asking admission
for a poor young wanderer from the path of virtue, a
daughter of Mrs Cooper Painter

17th
Sent a note to Dr. Bellesaric with
"Dr Nathans'" compliments" and to ask
if he would be so kind as to draw the
carious teeth of two of our inmates.
Received a letter containing a small book mark
from Eliz'th Thompson, she still continues in the
same situation and seems doing well.
Mrs. Pratt came to ask me to get some one else
to preach instead of her husband as he has sprained
his ankle, and could not come.
Rebecca Cooper came this afternoon, we were so glad
to see her, so frail and worse, yet so young, what
a mercy it would be, to be the means of
snatching such a brand from the burning
