Saturday Mrs J. Thompson sent a bundle of tracts
10th and two parts Illustrated London News &
one "Band of Hope" a very usefull [useful] and
acceptable present. they will read picture
books. We received 20 Iron bedsteads from the
Government store, through the Rev'd Thos. Smith
Sabbath Mr. B. Short was asked on Friday if he would
11th preach here - he very kindly accepted the
invitation. He came this morn'g 8 miles
on horseback, text, Luke 15.
several of the girls wept very much.
