Feb'y 4th
Sabbath Sent Miss Galbraith yesterday with
Elizth Riley to the Infirmary.

We were well supplied with Ministers today

Monday Took Ellen Holmes to Mrs Capp's again
5th and Jane Drew to Mrs. Pausey's to enquire
for situations, called at Mr. Caldwells for money
on Jane's a/c. he gave her, her bank book, we were detained 3/4 of an hour at the bank. from there went to Mr Kingsborough's to purchase outfits for
Mary Saunders, Ellen Holmes, and Isabella Campbell.

Tuesday Maria Bird refused to go to school, she wont
6th do anything Miss Wright tells her.
Mrs. Goodlet ordered her to be locked up.
Received a note from Mrs. Capps' requesting
Ellen Holmes to call upon her on business
of importance, and as Miss G was too busy
had to trust Ellen by herself, after warning
her to return &c &c.
She did return before tea in high spirits
having received letters telling of property
left to her. she had to go to a Magistrate to
get a letter signed, certifying that she was
the person enquired for.
