Teusday [Tuesday] "10/- to buy flowers for Emma's
garden." but as we are so liberally supplied, not having had to buy any. Therefore shall ask the ladies
what is to be done with the money.

Wednesday Mrs Weaver and her sister in law
31st called & brought washing with them in
the buggie from Balmain, we
invited them to go over the house
they saw the inmates at dinner, and
were very sorry to see we were so short of dining [inserted[ room
but the bedrooms and general arrangements
were much admired by them.

Thursday The Matron went 1/4 past 8 oclk to
Mr. Caldwells to pay the monthly a/c for
work done £35. 12. 9 and went from
there to Mrs. Peasey, to see if she would try to
get Pam Drew a situation as nursery governess
up the country. from there went to
Mrs Capps, to put Ellen Holme's name
down for a situation as general servant, and
paid 2/6 through the kindness of one of our
