November 22nd. Wedensday
Miss Lloyd took Kate Kelly to the Infirmary
and as soon as Miss L had gone, she ran
away, thus wasting time for nothing, and is
a walking pestilence about town.

Thursday 23rd
Rev'd C. Ord preached in the eveg.
The Father of M. A. Peart, "having just heard that she was
in the Refuge." came sobbing and wringing his hands
so convulsivly that we feared he would fall in a fit, he
was told the he ought to thank God that his child had seen the
folly of her wicked ways, and was anxious to reform.

Friday 24th
Mr. Peart came again bringing his wife with him
it was a painful meeting of the parents and their prodgical child,
The mother wants to take her home, but the father wishes her to
remain 12 months, they were adivsed to attend the committee.

Sabbath 26th
Revd W. Mills preached in the morn.
W. R. Johnson 3oclk. a Bible Class in the eveg
after which 10 of the younger ones, repeated hymns &
verses, and all seemed contented and happy.

although some differences and
quarreling had taken place during the day, much to
our discomfort and distress.
