Forth Worth, Texas, March 11, 1904.

To the Honorable City Council,
City of Fort Worth.

Gentlemen:-

We, the undersigned citizens of Fort Worth, residing on or
owning property fronting on Alma Street, between Terrell Avenue and
Pennsylvania Avenue, most respectfully request that you enter into a
contract with L. J. Hawkins for the graveling of said Alma Street
between said Avenues, at a cost of sixty cents per lineal foot.

Said street to be graveled for a width of thirty feet with nine inches
of gravel in the center and extending to three inches on the sides.

The City to pay for graveling of the intersections and one third
of the graveling in front of the property and we agree to pay two thirds
of the expense of graveling in front of our respective property. The
City to grade street ready for the gravel. The expense to each property owner
being 20 cents for each lineal foot.
