ones, and dont enjoy a very good state of health
in general. THis has been a season of much
sicknss & death here and of trouble & perplex
ity from the death of poor Mr Scott, wars etc
We have prepared a couple of boats to make our
escape to some of the Leeward islands should it
be necessary for us so to do. I am now daily employed
withe my papa at the Vessel which is now a
calking; but her deck is not laid nor will she be
finished for a long time yet.
