re king from all parts to attend this ap-bly
& the church was large without any seats and boarding
to welch tradition is built upon the spot where the earth rose upon St David
while he was preaching in this part of the world. Had
my dear friends with me beheld the vast ? of
people (supd between 4 & 5min) nearly all standing during 2 services & 2 ?? in this
old Church * warmth energy & zeal of the Ministers with such a
aparantly swallowing the words as they came from
the preachers mouth Many young & old lame & blind
rich & poor were weeping under the powerful Word
of God I say had ye been with me I am sure you
would have wept too, especially to think that there
appeared to be such a feast of fat and things could not be enjoyed it because
in a different language. After the two services the Minister intermingled with the poeple and at this
period what had been delivered the scene was interesting, it borrowed reminded me of the I often thought of
my London friends and of those who
& stuffed and ? even to prayer, one was no lolling or reposing - after this I was much delighted
to see the servants of the Farmers carrying
their baskets of bread & cheese to give to the poor
who were sitting or standing in goups here
& there - we then set off to Langsith when we had

the church which was old & small was added to ? at this
place two sermones were preached during the three days
that I was out I heard Nine Sermons and from what I could
learn they were excellent - Sir said. Also, actually planted
the Gospel in this country - that many parts might be
found amongst this people - I met with such kindness
they seemed astonished to see a person from such a distance
amongst them. I have not written Rev Burder at this
time please to make my respects when you see him
