Morea [Moorea] Sept: 1814

Dear Sir

I hope you and all the family
are well, May God bless you and keep you
from evil in your way to eternity.
There is no safty [safety] nor peace for any of the
children of men but in God; in him you
have all good, may he be your portion and
your God. Take great heed to your heart,
your mind, and your way in this life,
that you may not have to weep over the van
ities of youth another day; a word to the wise
Please to give my love to your father and mother
And Mr Eyer, and the friends. Tell Mr Hassell
that I am glad to say that a part of the letter I sent
him is not strictly true, But as it was in confidence
it will not injure any

Sir you kindly promised George to do
any thing in the Colony to serve him. And
though he is not here at present yet on the
ground of your kind promise I have taken
the liberty to send one cask of pork and one
cask of pea for him If you can dispose of it and send
out some hatchets Razors box locks print
strong shurting or slops &c. one or two more
cask if you please by so doing you will much
