Mareham Le Fen according to the original on Ancestry. The only thing that worries me about this project is whether we are duplicating information that has already been captured - I don't know if it was by TNA or someone else.

I think I read somewhere the object of this one was to make extra information available and for free.

Looks like full information is available on Ancestry!

Thanks for the info about Ancestry, just to clarify, the cards on Ancestry are from the National Maritime Museum, and not The National Archives. Our records are the registers, not an individual card. A fine example of the same info in different places. This project will open our records, and complement those held by the NMM.

Pity you can't do a swap deal with NMM. Nice to include Nautical Health Service records currently being transcribed too!

We do try and liaise sometimes :-) but depends on where the records originate.
Just checked and the NMM cards are the application for the certificate, so the records only go up to the date of the application. The registers we hold include later voyages, and in some cases is more accurate.
