Dear Mother,

Just a short, fast one to
ask you to bring along that
gold crucifix that I had hung
on the wall in my room.
Sylvia gave it to me. It was
her mother's, & I'm quite
fond of it. I want to hang
it in She's room. I think
you took it down when I was
in school. I hope that you
can find it. We are assembling
all the things we want,
to decorate her room. So far,
they are spread all over the
house, she's still sleeping
