Tuesday 24 received marching
orders about midnight last night
orders to march at 7 oclock this morning
rose early all packed up
and put all in the wagons raining very hard
very muddy Pioneer Corps left last
night returned this morning orders
for marching countermanded
we think on account of the mud we
are to hold our selves in redimess
rote home this evening very wett all day
am in good health except the diarr

Wensday 25 visited the hospital to
day nothing new in camp
am in good health

Thursday 26 received orders to
march about sun rise road very
bad crossed the rapidan a little
after sun down on our
Pontoon bridge encamped for the
night in the woods 1/2 mile south
of the rapidon with the Col

Friday 27 Started on march about
sun rise marched very Slow feeling
our way firing in our front right
