a battalion drill this morning
and firing of blank cartridge

Road the river very high a train
of cars loded with coal placed
on the bridge to keep it from being
(__) swept off by the river went
to the Provost Marshall and got
a map(?) for Bro Hafron he left
in the evening for Sandy Hook had
pray meeting to night in the boys
quarter three at the alter one converted

To day unpleasant and
cold in my quarters all day
held meeting at night in Co
C. had a good time two
at the alter no converted
could not work to advantage
the weather still cold and
high winds am in good
health
