Sunday 1st Held sabeth
school this morning went
over to Bolivar in the after noon
was at Sunday School taught a
Bible class of soldiers distributed
some tracts heard the chaplain
of the Gen Hospital preach a
flowery sermon held prayr
meeting to night in my quarters
the Col and Several officers was
present four at the alter of prayr.

Monday 2 this is a very pleasant
day very warm Batalion drill
in the afternoon at dress parade
Some persons made their appearance
on Louden hights and planted a
white flag upon a rock over hanging
the shanando which (__) Some
excitement in our Reg the party
honored turned out to be some of
our officers with some femals we
held meeting at night in Co K
had a good time Six at the
alter am in good health for
which I feal thankfull
visited the Hospital
