Friday 30th in my Room
nearly all day the travling
very bad snow and slush
spent some little time with
Co G in the Col Room to
night the Col has resigned
is expecting his approval from
Washing am in good health
except some cold

ant but very bad travling
went down in to town
to day the fifth Md leaves
for the point of rocks Capt
Mauzer(?) of Co D is appointed
Provost Marshall of Harpers
Ferry Leiutent Small(?) is
appointed Adjutant in
the place of J.B. Ash
resigned nothing special
to day am in good
health for which I
feel thankfull
