went over to the left wing
at 10 oclock to hold meeting
but it was so cold we
had to dispense with the
exercises Preached at 2 oclk
in the Col office in the farm
house my first sermon
to a few of the Reg there
is but little desire on the part
of the privates for Preaching
officers all present
except two or three my
text was John 1 & 46 verse
subject, predgudice, had
a pleasent time was
encouraged from the attention
given by my hearers had
a pleasant conversation
to night in my tent with
captain christie he is a
pleasent man and I
think an experienced
Christian read the 3rd
chapt of (__) retired
to bed cold in my
head no better
