Sir,

I beg to acquaint you that, - on the 18' Sept 1856, -
I paid to the Receiver - General of Droits of admiralty the sum
of £1-18-1, in respect of Droit no 133/1854 belonging to Walter Strickland
Esqr for the manor of Flamborough, you will therefore
have the goodness to apply to the secretary, - admiralty,
London, for the said amount. I am sir,
